Artist's Description

The IDS Center is the heart of Minneapolis, and its tallest building at 51 floors. Every so often I revisit it, and try to see it fresh with the camera's eye. This time, black and white seemed to capture the feeling I get standing at the base and following those lines up to where they converge at infinity.

About Jim Hughes

Jim Hughes

I'm a photographer in Minneapolis, interested in many things. Sometimes I start with a plan, and sometimes something just catches my eye. I like to come up with my own spin on a subject and create an image with some sort of a twist. And when I know what I want, I'll spend a lot of time getting it. If you're looking for a specific photo and not finding it, just email me at jim-hughes@outlook.com.
