The Interstate Highway 35W Bridge spans the MIssissippi River in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Oh the night of June 26 2015, it was illuminated in rainbow colors in celebration of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to recognize marriage as a Constitutional right, to be extended to gay people in all 50 states. In this photo, the 35W bridge is actually behind the 10th Ave. bridge in the foreground. But the colors can be seen through openings in the 10th Ave bridge and reflected on the Mississippi.

I'm a photographer in Minneapolis, interested in many things. Sometimes I start with a plan, and sometimes something just catches my eye. I like to come up with my own spin on a subject and create an image with some sort of a twist. And when I know what I want, I'll spend a lot of time getting it.
