Interstate 35W in Minneapolis was in the middle of a multi-year renewal when the Coronavirus epidemic hit. On this day in May, 2020, an expanse of fresh concrete combined with the absence of traffic on this just-completed stretch of highway to create an image of a brand-new city with great possibilities for the future. We could use a fresh start right now.

I'm a photographer in Minneapolis, interested in many things. Sometimes I start with a plan, and sometimes something just catches my eye.
